The second bathroom often gets overlooked—especially the en-suite. Since it’s just for us, we tend to think it doesn’t matter how it looks. But studies show that being surrounded by vibrant colours and playful patterns can have a big impact on our mood. So even if you're the only one using your en-suite shower room, why not turn it into a joyful little escape? You deserve that daily boost first thing in the morning!

I believe even the smallest spaces deserve a little love—and a little style.
For this mini makeover, I challenged myself with a tight budget and just one roll of wallpaper. The goal? To create a refreshing, mood-boosting space without overspending. Stained glass-effect self-adhesive foil pairs beautifully with patterned wallpaper and artificial eucalyptus, ivy, and aquatic plants.
This was a one-roll budget project, so I had to use the wallpaper strategically. A full wallpapered look might have been overpowering—or perhaps elegant—but I won’t know lol, given the low-cost nature of this makeover.

They say the devil is in the details—and I couldn’t agree more. I believe the faux leaf mat and soft, furry rug gave the space just the right amount of edge and texture. And then there’s the Cîroc bottle, repurposed as decor—my little nod to a waste-less lifestyle. Never throw away, always recycle and reinvent.
